They are the best selling large dolls of all time.  More than 115 million Cabbage Patch Kids® have been adopted since they hit the market 25 years ago, when they kicked off an unprecedented consumer frenzy.

On September 9, 2008, the Cabbage Patch Kids celebrate their 25th birthday with a party at Toys“R”Us Times Square – and now for a limited time, the original 1983 ‘Kids’ are available again for the first time in twenty-five years!

Consumers who were lucky enough to get one of the original ‘Kids back in 1983, as well as consumers who weren’t able to have one back then, will be delighted to see the new commemorative 25th AnniversaryKids with the same cute faces, clothing and names as the originals.

“Almost everyone has a special Cabbage Patch Kids memory about how and when they “adopted” their first ones or about those experiences,” says iVillage.com Chief Toy Officer Elizabeth Werner.  “And now, they’ll get a chance to share those memories, along with photos and videos at a special website created for the anniversary, www.cabbagepatchkids25.com.”

The 25th Anniversary ‘Kid’ adoption fee is $29.99.
