50th Anniversary
Barbie is celebrating her 50th anniversary.  This year she has “Barbie Presents: Thumbelina,” an eco friendly themed movie that reminds girls that even the smallest person can make a big difference.  The Barbie Blooming Thumbelina Doll is based on the movie. 50th Anniversary
Fisher Price Little People are also celebrating 50th years.  And for their 50th birthday they are planning a year-long celebration with commemorative playsets, a limited-edition 50th birthday CD, and the Little People Live musical show touring six zoos across the country. They are featuring the Birthday Play ‘n Go Farm and School.  It reflects the classic look of the original Little People playsets introduced in 1968 and 1971, complete with retro-styled figures!  All of the pieces store inside the nostalgic, collectible take-along tin.

45th Anniversary
Another big anniversary coming up is with GI Joe.  They are celebrating 45
years!
